Sony has revealed their latest innovation in technology at
the Consumer Electronic Show 2012 in the form of their Xperia Watch and now it
seems that you can wear your smartphone.
This latest piece of technology is available in a choice of plastic coloured wristbands and has been designed with a minimalist look.

The
technology is not suprisingly both a watch and a smartphone as the name gives
it away, SmartWatch. While the device is only watch size it does come with the
Android operating system and a 1..3 inch OLED 128x128 display. Perfect for the
younger generation with good eyesight who want access to smartphone functions
on their wrist, but perhaps not something you would want to give your gran!
The
smartphone watch may be connected to the Xperia Arc S through bluetooth which
allows you to answer calls, check your messages and even access popular social
networking sites. Though you may get some odd looks if you are talking to what
seems to be your wristwatch.
The
cost of the smartphone technology has not yet been disclosed as of today 12th
Jan 2012 and only time will tell if it will be a success or not.
